I've been waiting for a new Opeth album since, well, the last one came out. I love this band!

This was released a couple months before it showed up on my radar. Not sure how that happens. Hate to be late to the party, but glad to get to the party in any case!

A long-awaited album from one of my favorite bands of all time. This album is ALL over the place. Mellow, heavy, everywhere. My favorite kind.

Different kind of Opeth album. It is pretty mellow in general and there are some strange arrangements with flutes and whatnot. Very Jethro Tull! I can't knock it, though. Opeth is just too great.

LIVE OPETH! Albert Hall seems like a pretty unique place for a metal band like Opeth but hey, they made it work! So great!

Opeth lost a key member prior to the work on this album but it still turned out fantastic. I love this album, from the melodic, emotional tracks to the hard, deep metal songs. This band is truly amazing.

Another genius release from these guys. Wow, a nice combo of hard metal and beautiful melodies.

Is there an album that isn't amazing by Opeth? I can't speak for every album here, but this one certainly is AMAZING.
