We had a nice Halloween with little Julia this year. She dressed as, no, not a pumpkin. Actually, she was dressed up as Winnie the Pooh. You can see a photo of her outfit here » Hope you all had a fun, safe time out there. Happy Halloween. Oh, and Happy Birthday to brother Jon too!

My Doppelgänger

Some coworkers of mine sent me this photo a couple days back and I instantly did a double take. The title of the email was "Looks like you showed up for our casting call". I was confused. It looked like someone had taken a photo of me and messed around with it to make me look, well, different. The jaw size and the eye color are the biggest oddities for me. Other than that, this photo really trips me out! Apparently, this is an actual guy that did, in fact, show up for one of my company's casting calls for a commercial we are shooting. Holy doppelgänger, Batman! For those of you that know me well, this guy looks feakishly like me. This kind of experience has only happened to me once before when I was in high school. This random guy started showing up at my church and he looked EXACTLY like me. My friends were even going up and hugging this guy thinking it was me from time to time. It was creepy... as is this. Do you have a doppelgänger? Do you watch How I Met Your Mother and know the reference?

Siesta Championships

Talk about a competition that I am more than capable of winning! "People sleep a siesta during the first Siesta Championship in Madrid, Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010. The participants of the siesta contest win points for the first person to fall asleep, the loudest snorer, best original sleeping position and best dressed sleeper. Doctors are present to check if the contestants are really asleep." Wait a minute, best dressed sleeper? What is that category all about? As it doesn't look like I will be traveling to Madrid to participate this year, I think that I will continue to compete here in the good-ol-US. I have created my own event, called the Decathasleep. Basically, you earn points for how many different places you can sleep in one given day. Couch, hammock, other couch, bed, comfy chair, floor, shady tree... the list could go on and on. What an event!
